Beat the Winter Blues and Try the 10 Day Reset

It’s finally March. Spring is just around the corner, even though it might not feel like it YET. It’s coming. It’s been a long winter and I don’t know about you but snowstorms, snow days and snow in general just has me craving more comfort food than normal. When I say comfort food, I mean junk food. And wine. Why do I always want wine when it snows? It’s a mystery to me but it’s time to shape up, it’s going to be warm soon and the season of junk food is over.

I’m launching my 10 day reset again for the next 2 weeks! I don’t offer this program on a regular basis. I think this is a good time of year to give your body a reset. My 10 day consists of 5 meals, eating lean proteins, unlimited veggies, sweet potatoes, rice, oatmeal, smoothies, and a great cleansing water which tastes like being at the spa.

Each day you will be provided with a new smoothie recipe to try along with meal tips and a workout that can be done at home or at the gym. It’s easy to follow and only 10 days. Frequently Asked Questions about the 10 Day:
1) Can I still drink coffee?

A - Yes, for better results I recommend black coffee and only in the morning. You should refrain from any added sugars.

2) Do I have to cook?

A - No. You can find most protein is available pre-cooked now and as long as you have a stove/microwave to heat then you don’t HAVE to cook. You can also buy your veggies frozen or eat raw. You do need a blender for the smoothies.

3) The grocery list seems long, do I have to purchase everything on the list?

A - short answer, NO. There are a lot of ingredients that are for the smoothies. If you have a smoothie recipe you prefer, we can work together and you can just buy ingredients for that. You want to make sure you have ingredients for detox water and veggies, protein for meals.

4) I am going away on X day of the 10 day and I won’t be able to follow it that day, should I bother doing it?

A - Yes, as long as there will only be 1 day you don’t think you will be able to follow 100%. Life is always going to get in the way so this reset is designed to help you plan and prepare each day. If you eat 1 meal that’s not “on plan” then shake it off and get right back on plan with your next meal.

5) Can I still eat at restaurants?

A - Absolutely. There are so many options you can probably choose from as well. The app will give you ideas or ordering out.
